Get Involved

Our goal is to provide scholarships to 100 students in the Kilimanjaro region by 2015. In addition we plan to address short term needs with warm clothing and equipment for porters and guides on Mt. Kilimanjaro. To succeed we need your help.

There are many ways to get involved. You can make a donation, volunteer, adopt a student or join our newsletter to receive quarterly updates.

Make a Donation

To Return accepts donations via check, money order, credit card and stock.  In addition we accept in kind donations of new or used mountain equipment and also frequent flier miles.  Contribute today and make a difference in the lives of Kilimanjaro porters and their children.

Adopt a Student

Sponsor a student’s education.  We offer scholarships at the nursery school to university level. Scholarship recipeients must either be a guide or a porter on Kilimanjaro or more often, the child of a guide or porter. With the majority of our efforts going to education, your donations will make a difference in the life of a student in Tanzania.  Scholarships range from $500/year to $2,500/year depending on the level of education.  We often pair individuals into groups who sponor a student.  Our adopt a student program allows you to stay in touch with the student via email, phone, report cards, and more.
